4. The official wedding photo

Another tradition of royal weddings is the official photo shoot. Usually, it is done between the wedding ceremony and the wedding evening. The first British ruler to take such an approach was King Edward VII.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle chose Alexi Lubomirski to take the pictures of their wedding, one of the most famous fashion photographers, who also photographed the couple for their official engagement portrait. In addition to the traditional photos in which they are surrounded by the family, as well as those of the bride and groom with the bridesmaids, Lubomirski took a romantic photo, in which the newlyweds sit on the steps of Windsor Castle.
