Shortly after the wedding day, each guest receives a piece of cake placed in a metal souvenir box and accompanied by a small note of thanks. The newlyweds keep the upper levels of the cake to serve them at the baptism of their future children and keep another piece for auction, as it is also a tradition in the royal family.
