Meghan Markle acted on her behalf

Since their removal from the crown in March 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry are no longer required to appear at certain events on behalf of their royal titles. They will, however, be at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, which will celebrate seventy years of Elizabeth II’s reign, from June 2 to 5. Their children, Archie and Lilibet, will also be there and will be reunited with their cousins, George, Charlotte and Louis, for the occasion. On the other hand, Prince Harry’s family is not expected to appear on the balcony of Buckingham Palace alongside the sovereign of the United Kingdom. “After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that the traditional appearance on the balcony for the Trooping the Colour on Thursday, June 2, will this year be limited to Her Majesty and members of the Royal Family who are making official public engagements on behalf of the Queen,” the Palace spokesman said on May 6, 2022. Prince Harry’s grandmother, however, has reportedly prepared a special gesture to welcome her grandson and his family.
