Meghan Markle: Her sister orders her to apologize after inappropriate photos

On November 8, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle celebrated their own Remembrance Day in Los Angeles. An unexpected decision that did not please Samantha Markle, the Duchess’ half-sister.

It was a particularly important moment for Prince Harry. As a former soldier in the British Army, the Duke of Sussex made a point of participating in Remembrance Day on November 8, which is Remembrance Day at home, commemorating the end of the First World War and the memory of the soldiers.

If in England the British Royal Family went to the Whitehall Cenotaph in London, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted to pay their own tribute at the Los Angeles National Cemetery. A choice they made since Buckingham Palace refused their tribute from London.

From the American cemetery, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have bloomed – with flowers from their own garden – the graves of two Commonwealth soldiers as well as in front of the memorial obelisk. For the occasion, Princess Diana’s son wore his military medals and the famous Remembrance Poppy, as did his wife. This solemn moment was immortalized, went around the social networks… but obviously didn’t have much to do with anyone, especially not Meghan Markle’s half-sister.

Inappropriate” photos

Samantha Markle gave an interview to talkRADIO, and indicated that her sister-in-law’s gesture is not really to her liking, reports The Express. “I think the most important thing about Remembrance Day is not only to remember those who sacrificed for us, but also to remember that life is precious and short and that we have to be grateful,” she began by explaining, before talking about Meghan Markle: “I just hope she can wake up and realize that, but it doesn’t seem to be the case.”

Then Samantha Markle called her half sister to apologize. “It’s all been horrible and I think it should have been nipped in the bud. Any decent person would never, out of kindness and humanity, have allowed it to go that far,” she added. Finally, according to Samantha Markle, the photos of the Sussex couple are simply “inappropriate”.
