Indeed, the Express reported this Friday, February 25 that the NAACP – namely, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People -, decided to salute the commitments of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by awarding them an award.
“We are thrilled to present this award to Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who together have answered the call for social justice and joined the fight for equity in the United States and around the world,” NAACP President Derrick Johnson reportedly said. An honor in the eyes of the royal couple, who in a statement commented on the wonderful award, “It is a true honor to be recognized by President Derrick Johnson and the NAACP, whose efforts to promote racial justice and civil rights are as vital today as they were nearly 115 years ago.”
Meghan Markle, again criticized
