Interview with Meghan Markle: Her unexpected words to Kate Middleton

The interview between Meghan Markle and Oprah Winfrey shook the British royal family. Buckingham Palace fears the words of Archie’s mother against Kate Middleton.

This date of Sunday March 7 could remain engraved in the mind of the British royal family. One year after leaving the monarchy, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry broke the silence concerning their decision, which had the effect of a bomb across the Channel. The interview they gave to Oprah Winfrey, and broadcast on the American channel CBS, is particularly feared by Queen Elizabeth II .

So much so that she might consider stripping Meghan and Harry of their titles of Duchess and Duke of Sussex, in addition to the other royal patronages from which they are already stripped. All will depend on what is said during the interview. The Sovereign has not been allowed any passes and will have to wait for the official broadcast to find out what her grandson says on the screen, like the other viewers.

Buckingham Palace is also terrified that Meghan Markle will say unpleasant things about Kate Middleton. In particular, it fears that the mother-to-be will expose the details of their famous “fracture”. “If she has chosen to speak frankly about her history with Kate, the damage that could be done to the monarchy is considerable,” a royal source told the British media outlet The Sun, while adding: “She has the power to reveal just how bad things were between them, Harry, William and Kate.” However, an insider aware of Oprah Winfrey’s interview told the Post that the Palace had nothing to fear in this regard. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would have had only “kind words” for Prince William and Kate Middleton.

An interview worth more than $7 million

This interview of little Archie’s parents will, whatever happens, make a big noise. Besides, it is already worth gold. According to the Wall Street Journal, the American channel CBS would have paid a sum between 7 and 9 million dollars (representing more than 6 million euros), to broadcast this very first interview of the couple since their departure from the royal family.
