Beatrice of York’s cancelled wedding: how her mother Sarah Ferguson consoles her

This period of confinement has not been an easy one for Princess Beatrice of York. In addition to the fact that her father, Prince Andrew, is accused in the terrible Epstein affair, Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter has also had her wedding, which was to be held on May 29, postponed due to the health crisis. Fortunately, her mother Fergie always has a kind word for her to cheer her up.

She has seen better days… The touching Princess Beatrice, 31, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and sister of Princess Eugenie, is going through a period of confinement that is complicated to say the least and that she is probably eager to forget.

While her father, Prince Andrew, has been cornered in the case of the paedophile Jeffrey Epstein (in which he is accused of the worst crimes, and whose documentary Jeffrey Epstein: Power, Money and Perversion, currently being broadcast on Netflix, does not spare him), Princess Beatrice has also had to deal with the annulment of her royal marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, which was to be held this Friday, May 29th in the presence of the entire royal family, including the Sussex family.

The most beautiful day of her cancelled life

And the least that can be said for the young princess is that this is a hard blow to take, she was preparing with joy for the most beautiful day of her life; she who, in spite of her rank, did not really have an easy personal life, as she recently testified through a YouTube video, in which she talked about her dyslexia and the humiliations she suffered during childhood because of this handicap, and the repercussions she still feels today.

“Health and love…”

Fortunately, to cheer her up on what should have been the happiest day of her life, Beatrice was able to count on her mother’s support and kind thoughts.

While they’re not confined together and haven’t seen each other for several weeks, Sarah Ferguson tweeted a lovely message to her daughter on her Twitter page, in which she says, “The most important things in life are health and love, and today I’m sending all that to you, and also to all the people who should have been married during this time… I’m so proud of all of you.” Followed by a tag on his daughter Beatrice’s account.

Let’s hope this sweet message will cheer up the young York princess a little, as she is trying to postpone her marriage to her Italian-born businessman until next year, given the health situation. See you then in 2021 for the next royal wedding.
