Time is running Out: Harry and William have only 5 months left to reconcile

Next March, at the end of the transition period of Megxit, Prince Harry will know whether or not he recovers his military titles. A decision which would be conditioned by his relations with William, reports “Newsweek”.

The end of the trial period is approaching for Prince Harry. After having decided to withdraw from the royal family with Meghan Markle, the deposed grandson of Elizabeth II was forced to temporarily give up his military titles, including that of Captain General of the Royal Marines, until the end of the transition period of the Megxit. A suspension which must therefore be re-examined next March, and whose outcome could be considerably influenced by the relations between Harry and William, reports Newsweek.

According to the royal biographer, Robert Lacey, Prince William could indeed recover Prince Harry’s military titles if their relations have not calmed down at the end of this period. This would lead to renewed tensions between the two brothers, if not worse.

“There have been rumors that these titles will be awarded to William. If that were to be the case, it would be the end of the relationship,” the biographer told the tabloid. In other words, there is an urgent need to get everything back on track before the big, decisive meeting next March at Buckingham Palace.

A reconciliation that promises to be complicated

However, Robert Lacey is somewhat pessimistic about this. “Either the royal family will go towards some sort of compromise or reconciliation, or there will be a breakup. I don’t think there’s much chance of reconciliation.

I think whatever is decided in March will actually be determined in the near future,” he says. In fact, Prince William confirmed the quarrel with his brother on ITV News, assuring, however, that “most of their quarrels started from nothing” and that he “loves Harry dearly”. Is this a hand outstretched?
