On Wednesday, December 15, Meghan Markle was spotted doing her Christmas shopping, not far from her Montecito villa according to the Daily Mail.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing to celebrate the holiday season in California, their home for almost two years. This year, the mother of Archie (2 years) and Lilibet (6 months) went not far from Montecito where her villa is located to do her Christmas shopping. She was spotted in town on Wednesday, December 15, according to the Daily Mail.

The British newspaper relayed photos where Meghan Markle appears dressed in her Massimo Dutti wool coat, Tamara Mellon boots, a hat, large sunglasses and a sanitary mask. She could almost have passed unnoticed in the streets. Prince Harry’s wife went first to Pierre LaFond & Co, a chic grocery store; then to Poppy’s, a children’s boutique; and finally to Hudson Grace, a home furnishings and decor store.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will celebrate Christmas in California

Accompanied by her bodyguard, Meghan Markle bought many items in the stores. Impossible to know if some of them are for the British royal family. Especially since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have already indicated that they would stay in California for the holidays.

According to the Express UK, the brother of Prince William should still celebrate Christmas “from afar” with his family. The newspaper explained on December 10 that according to the royal expert Neil Sean: “There will be some gifts, but it will be very formal. (…) Let’s just say that whatever they send each other, it will be from a distance. A very sad situation when we know that Queen Elizabeth II is still very weak and needs to be surrounded by her family for her first Christmas without Prince Philip.
