Meghan Markle: that little-known talent who was a true revelation

On June 23rd, Meghan Markle made her mark during a charity visit to Los Angeles by unveiling a hitherto little-known talent.

Generous and talented. There’s no shortage of melodious qualifiers for Meghan Markle after the Sussex charity visit to Los Angeles on June 23rd. The couple volunteered at Homeboy Industries, which helps former inmates.

A meeting that Archie’s mom allegedly requested after the George Floyd case. Meghan Markle and Harry not only baked pastries, but also talked to people who had been in and out of prison. Both were described as “totally engaged and relaxed”, but it was the former Suits actress who made the biggest impression by revealing a talent that was hardly known to her.

“She spoke perfect Spanish with a young woman,” Greg Boyle, the band’s founder, told People on Wednesday 1 July. He called it a “real revelation”. “It was very good,” he told the American site, which explains why Meghan Markle’s linguistic prowess may not be all that surprising.

The Duchess of Sussex interned at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was during this time that she would have learned Spanish. Same bakery department, Meghan Markle seems to have beaten her husband.

Impressive memory

“Meghan’s pretty good at it – and Harry’s probably not,” said Greg Boyle, who worked with the American’s mother, Doria Ragland, some 20 years ago. Meghan was there that day. She would still remember the tamale recipe she had learned at the time. The head of Homeboy Industries even thinks she’ll try to make it for Prince Harry again. If she remembers it as well as she remembered her Spanish lessons, it sounds delicious.
