Meghan Markle Rejects Kate Middleton’s Extended Hand: New Revelations

Contrary to popular belief, Kate Middleton would have reached out several times to Meghan Markle, who would not have wanted it.

It is no longer a secret that the relationship between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle has been marked by many tensions. Jealousy, incompatibility of characters, inability to live together… the two women have struggled to bond.

And in this imbroglio, the Duchess of Sussex wanted to improve her damaged image. The one who was described as authoritarian wanted to restore the truth in her biography (unauthorized according to her), Finding Freedom, published last August. “Disappointed”, Meghan Markle bitterly regretted that Kate Middleton had never tried to befriend her.

Statements that would be contrary to reality. The wife of Prince William would in fact have reached out several times to the former actress of Suits. Without success.

This is what the journalist specialized in royalty, Rebecca English, reveals. “I am told that both Kate and the Countess of Wessex (the wife of Prince Edward, the youngest son of Elizabeth II) have ‘contacted’ the Duchess on several occasions, particularly after she expressed her displeasure in a television documentary (broadcast in October 2019, in which Meghan Markle shared her distress). But they were rejected,” writes the specialist.

Prince William, very affected

Rebecca English’s version is therefore quite different from the one delivered by Prince Harry’s wife. The fact remains that the quarrel between the two women has contaminated the two brothers. Very affected, Prince William had to bandage his wounds.

Since Harry’s departure for the United States, “he has given up not only a beloved brother, but also someone he expected to be at his side to share the burden of his future responsibility as king,” Rebecca English analyses. From now on, he will have to rely solely on his father and his wife in his task.
