A CALL FOR SOLIDARITY
In these times of coronavirus crisis, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to use their power of influence as best they can. This is why they have come out of silence in a publication posted on their Instagram account.
In these times of crisis, making regular calls for solidarity is more than necessary. As the coronavirus continues to wreak havoc around the world, States are adopting one by one containment measures to stem the epidemic. And no one is spared, from the anonymous to the celebrities.
Now far from the British royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to use their influence for causes that are dear to them. This is what they did when they came out of their silence on March 18.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were confined to Canada, posted a message on their Instagram account. On the image of the publication is a quote: “This moment is a true testament to the human spirit.” A statement accompanied by a message of solidarity from Archie’s parents.
These are uncertain times. And now, more than ever, we need each other. We need each other for truth, for support, and to feel less alone at a time that may honestly seem scary enough,” they write.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry want to inspire people. “The empathy and kindness with which we approach each other … is very important right now.
Over the next few weeks that will be our guiding principle,” the Sussex continued. The couple is committed to sharing scientific publications and “inspiring stories” in the days and weeks ahead.
The two lovers also want to do the right things to keep individuals healthy and will share the names of organisations that can support people’s wellbeing. These are all resolutions that Meghan and Harry intend to carry out without the endorsement of the Royal Family.
