This Saturday, May 8, the Vax Live concert, recorded a week earlier, was broadcast on American channels. For the occasion, Meghan Markle made an appearance that did not go unnoticed.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had been very discreet since their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey in March, in which they charge the British royal family. If since then, the Duke of Sussex had to travel to the United Kingdom to attend the funeral of his grandfather, he had not resumed speaking publicly … until this Sunday, May 2. It was at the Vax Live charity concert, presented by singer Selena Gomez and organized by the NGO Global Citizen that the couple made an appearance again. Recorded a week earlier at the So-Fi stadium in Los Angeles, the event chaired by the Sussexes advocates for an equitable distribution of the vaccine against Covid-19. While Harry made the trip and spoke numerous times on stage, Meghan Markle reportedly pulled out at the last minute. However, Archie’s mother, who is pregnant with her second child, recorded a video message, which was broadcast during the concert broadcast on Saturday, May 8.

Always as sublime, the mother-to-be, who could not physically go to the event, still wanted to speak. This message seems to have been filmed in the backyard of his luxurious home in Montecito. For the occasion, the wife of Prince Harry wore a softer look than during her interview with Oprah Winfrey. The Duchess opted for a bright red blouse dress with pink flowers, revealing her well rounded belly. On the hair side, Meghan Markle let herself be seduced by a curly side hair, highlighting her dreamy hair.

A committed message

During this video, two minutes long, broadcast at the end of the Vax Life concert, the former interpreter of Rachel Zane in the series Suits has pronounced a strong and committed message. While tenderly stroking her babybump, Meghan Markle began, “As campaign chairs of Vax Live, my husband and I believe it is critical that our recovery prioritize the health, safety, and success of everyone, but especially women who have been disproportionately impacted by this pandemic,” before continuing, “Women, and especially women of color, have seen a generation of economic gains wiped out.”

The Duchess of Sussex later spoke about her pregnancy. “My husband and I are thrilled to be welcoming a daughter soon. It’s a feeling of joy that we share with millions of other families around the world,” she explained visibly moved before adding, “When we think of her, we think of all the young women and girls around the world who need to have the ability and support to carry us forward.” This strong message, in an effort to protect women weakened by this coronavirus pandemic, was broadcast on many American channels.
