According to this survey, only 32% of those surveyed have a positive opinion of Meghan Markle. Nearly half (40%) are not won over by Prince Harry’s wife while 25% of the British people polled have a neutral opinion of her. A shock for both women, as the Duchess of Cornwall has long been under fire for her affair with the eldest son of Her Majesty Elizabeth II. But also as a result of the negative impact of the affair on Lady Diana’s health and well-being. While Camilla Parker Bowles could not find her place in the hearts of 26% of the population surveyed, 37% were seduced by her role in the Firm. Meghan Markle can however boast of receiving the support of the younger generation, as deciphered by the newspaper The Express. She remains less popular than Sophie de Wessex, the new figurehead of the Crown and former mentor to Archie’s mother. Prince Edward’s wife closes the top 10.
