Meghan Markle: her mother Doria Ragland will speak out!

But who will speak in the documentary Harry & Meghan whose first episodes will be available on Netflix from this Thursday, December 8? According to the Daily Mail, among the relatives interviewed, there would be the mother of Meghan Markle, Doria Ragland, very rare in interviews.

If her father Thomas Markle and her half-sister Samantha often speak in the media, we hear a lot less the voice of Meghan Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland. The latter could break the silence in the documentary Harry & Meghan whose first episodes will land on Netflix from this Thursday, December 8. According to the Daily Mail, Doria Ragland should be the only member of Meghan Markle’s family to take part in the documentary. This would be her first time in front of the cameras. According to Netflix, “family and friends” of the Sussexes will talk about the impact of the “Megxit” and its preparation – and why they “had” to resort to it.

The Daily Mail recalls that her mother Doria Ragland is the only person in her family that Meghan Markle has remained close to, and for his part, Harry, is not expected to benefit from the testimony of a family member unless there is a huge surprise. For now, his father, King Charles III and his brother, Prince William, are reportedly holding crisis meetings to prepare to retaliate in case of a scandal related to the documentary series. It seems highly unlikely that they will speak out in it. In the trailer unveiled by Netflix this Thursday, December 1, the speakers other than Meghan and Harry do not appear. But in addition to that of Doria Ragland, other names are beginning to circulate, including that of Markus Anderson, Meghan’s best friend who witnessed the emergence of their love.

A late launch, but with a distinguished guest

If this documentary is awaited with so much impatience, it is because it has been announced for two years. A delay that would have ended up cooling the beautiful friendship that there was between the boss of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, and Prince Harry. “Nothing will be the same after,” confided to the Daily Mail a source who understands that there were two years of tension around the questions: what to show? and when? The slowness of the production would have finally wearied the boss of the platform. But no doubt that the possible rare testimony of Meghan Markle’s mother should make people talk and perhaps bring them back together.
