Elizabeth II reportedly extended an olive branch to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as she invited them to next year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. An unprecedented event to mark her 70th year on the throne.
A symbol of peace. Following the fallout on the royal family lately, Elizabeth II decided to bury the hatchet with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the time of an event. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited to join the royal family to celebrate the Queen’s 70th birthday in style – her platinum jubilee, according to The Mirror.
This new appointment – official as of this week – which takes place from June 2 to 5, 2022, has the British people delighted. Buckingham Palace has already unveiled the program of national festivities planned for this very special event. A source close to the royals confirmed the Sussex couple’s invitation to the event and even stressed that “the Queen is very much looking forward to seeing them there.
” However, there is no mention of Meghan and Harry appearing on the palace balcony alongside Elizabeth II and other royals for the traditional RAF flypast. And since Charles is in favor of a “lean” monarchy, it is possible that he will reduce the number of people on the balcony. But this invitation already means a lot.
The royal family ready to reconcile with the Sussexes?
If the Queen is trying to make a move towards the Sussexes, Prince Charles is walking backwards. Back in England to attend the unveiling of the statue of his late mother, Prince Harry is far from being welcomed with open arms by his father. With his very busy schedule, the main interested party will be in Scotland for the next few weeks for royal obligations and personal reasons.
And as luck would have it, this trip comes just as Prince Harry is returning to England. One witness told the media outlet that the Prince of Wales decided to “leave the boys to themselves.” Perhaps this is a decision for the two brothers to share this moment together or maybe he does not want to talk to his son after the allegations against him.

People should leave these boys alone let Princess Diana continue to rest in Peace. And why can’t Meghan and Prince Harry be at the balcony the Queen loves her family let them be. Leave the assumptions and hearsay and wish for the worst they are human beings mistakes are in every family kindly give them the respect they deserve.
