Since moving into their lavish Santa Barbara home, Meghan Markle and Harry have never been happier. As revealed in the Daily Mail, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was once used for photo shoots and as a location for music videos.

This past August, Meghan and Harry brought their luggage to Montecito! The couple moved to a large villa in Santa Barbara, after spending several months in Los Angeles, in the property of their friend the producer Tyler Perry.

According to People Magazine, the lovebirds finally feel “at peace” behind the walls of their new home. “They were dreaming of a small community and a slower pace, Montecito is a harmonious city, very pleasant, and the proximity to Santa Barbara offers them everything they are looking for,” a source told the British magazine.

The opportunity to offer their son the normal life they dreamed of so much. “They feel that the future has so much in store for them. They can look forward to giving Archie a very normal life,” the source added. A cozy nest that the couple chose for the well-being of little Archie.

And this sublime home has also been used by professionals as revealed in the Daily Mail. Indeed, it was used as a place for photo shoots and music videos before they moved in. Rented at 700 dollars per hour for a minimum of 10 hours, the Duke and Duchess’ house, proposed by the Giggster site, could accommodate a team of 15 people and a private parking for 50 people. According to a list which had been detailed by the site, it was forbidden to smoke, to have pets, to cook and to drink alcohol. Shooting adult films was also prohibited.

Nicknamed the Italian villa

Called “Italian Villa”, thanks to its palazzo style interiors with high ceilings and wooden canopies, the house, worthy of a palace, is composed of an outdoor space with rose gardens and large Italian cypresses.
