Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recorded a podcast dedicated to mental health. But problem, rather than recording it in their own villa, they preferred to rent a luxury mansion a few minutes drive from their home …
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were photographed in front of a sublime stone fireplace with three high school students from Teenager Therapy for the recording of a podcast on mental health, a cause dear to the couple’s heart.
But so soon after the photo was unveiled, fans wondered about the villa’s interior design, not recognizing any of the rooms in their beautiful Montecito home in Santa Barbara. Not surprisingly, the couple did not record the podcast at their home, but a few meters away.
Indeed, as revealed by our colleagues of the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rented a luxurious residence, located on the seaside, only a few minutes away from their home. In the midst of a health crisis, the Duke and Duchess, who appeared masked during the recording, may have preferred to take precautions and avoid going back and forth in their home.
Too often victims of intrusion in their private life, the couple perhaps did not want to take any risk, judging that it was more judicious to close their doors, to preserve in particular the intimacy of their son Archie.
Financing a luxurious lifestyle
the couple acquired a magnificent property in Santa Barbara. A comfortable home with nine bedrooms, no less than sixteen bathrooms, a spa, a swimming pool, a games room and a luxurious wine cellar. A property bought for nearly 10 million euros.
Prince Charles had helped the couple by taking out his checkbook. But wanting to be financially independent, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex multiplied their projects. Last September, they signed a juicy contract with the online video platform Netflix. A first step towards not owing anything to anyone.
