As noticed by Express.co, this Saturday, June 5, their two profiles have been relegated to the bottom of the page, below nine other members of the royal clan.
Now settled in Los Angeles, Prince Harry remains sixth in the order of succession to the throne. Yet his record is below those of his uncle, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie, the Countess of Wessex. At the top of the list is naturally Queen Elizabeth II, followed by her eldest son, Prince Charles. Then Camilla Parker-Bowles, Kate Middleton, Prince William, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew. The biographies of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not fail to recall their withdrawal from the British royal family, while stating that Frogmore Cottage, their previous residence, will remain “their family home.”
A long interview “very pleasant” with Harry
Since their sublime California property, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are devoted to their new life in Santa Barbara, thousands of miles from Buckingham Palace. If the links have become more distant with the royal family, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain “a family, whatever happens”. At least that’s what Sophie of Wessex recently said in a rare interview with The Telegraph. On this occasion, the wife of Prince Edward revealed that she had a “long talk” with the grandson of Prince Philip, after the funeral, which she found “very pleasant”. For her part, Elizabeth II has spoken several times with her grandson, via video calls, including on Archie’s birthday.
