Meghan Markle and Harry in Danger? A bodyguard fears the Worst

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, exiled in Los Angeles, are no longer active members of the British royal family, some fear for their safety and predict something “catastrophic” to come.

By leaving the United Kingdom and the British Royal Family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry expose themselves to great risks. At least that’s what a former royal bodyguard thinks.

Expressing deep concern, Simon Morgan pointed out that something “catastrophic” could potentially happen, as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have chosen to live in the United States, reports The Express.

A royal family bodyguard between 2007 and 2013, he also questioned the tactics used by their new protection team, arguing that they needed to focus on something other than the paparazzi in order to see the bigger picture of a potentially more serious threat.

Once again in contact with his brother William after rumours of a falling out, William reportedly told Prince Harry of his fears for his safety and that of his wife and their son Archie. “William has advised Harry to return to London or move somewhere safer,” a source told Us Weekly, “he’s concerned for his brother’s welfare and safety.” The Duke and Duchess of Sussex may consider moving elsewhere, but for the time being they remain in Los Angeles.

The safety of the couple in question

In January 2020, the couple announced that they would no longer be active members of the royal family. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are therefore no longer as well protected by the British services. Since his birth, the youngest son of Prince Charles and Lady Diana had benefited from one of the most competent security services in the world.

But now that he is far from the United Kingdom, it is up to him to find the best teams to ensure his protection and that of his family. Security that comes at a price! In Los Angeles, the freer and more serene life envisioned by the couple seems to be gradually giving way to a harder reality…
