It will soon be a year since Princess Diana’s son and the former American actress chose to move away from London, its royal palaces, Queen Elizabeth II and her family to live in North America. A close friend of the couple confided about this year 2020 which has been “a second wind” for them, despite “its ups and downs”.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had to deal with “the stress of announcing their departure from the royal family, moving three times, the pandemic, important business decisions, setting up their charity Archewell and Meghan Markle’s miscarriage,” the source told Us Weekly.
All of these hardships have brought the Duke and Duchess of Sussex some positives: “It has brought them even closer together and made their relationship even stronger,” the source said. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now “closer than they have ever been and feel even luckier to have each other.

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been keeping a low profile on the media scene in 2020, the couple is planning to do things differently in 2021. According to the confidences of a source close, they should “make more appearances” in the coming months. Both are reportedly planning more work for the new year, especially once the Coronavirus health crisis is over. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would even be “optimistic and excited” about coming back to the forefront, and they have plenty of plans.
Couples tend to grow much closer when they get away from their families and learn to lean on each other. And let’s face it, having to do life in front of the world that is judging every move you make is stress deluxe. Meghan was never going to get a fair chance to get to grow into her role, learn all the customs of a new country and the institution, and be a part of Harry’s family. And, Harry was never going to allow his wife and son to go through what he saw his mother go through. He did want that life for himself – he never really did. So, it is good that they just left and it is good that they have a peaceful life together.
