“First, Trevor Noah insults Prince Harry’s father: ‘It’s going to take a lot of work to shape the monarchy into something everyone can get behind… from his first week in office, it seems King Charles is not the man for the job.’ Next, Meghan invites Noah on her podcast,” her Twitter account read. A message in reference to the comments made by the comedian. After the death of Elizabeth II, the actor questioned in his show the Daily Show about the place of the monarchy.

“I’m shocked that people want other people who were under the British Empire to share the same level of grief. Why would they?” the Newsweek website reports. He added: “People say, ‘Show some respect, this person is dead. And people say, ‘So what?” All over Africa, in India, there are so many places where people say, ‘But do you know what the British Empire did to us?'”
Trevor Noah takes on Charles III

“She’s your queen, but don’t expect everyone to adopt her now… because basically what you’re doing is recolonizing the people and saying, ‘This is who you’re supporting, this is who you’re encouraging,'” he added before taking a swipe at King Charles. Commenting on the monarch’s filmed anger at a leaking pen, he said: “It’s going to take a lot of work to shape the monarchy into something that everyone can support. But from his first week in office, it seems that King Charles is not the man for the job.

Before ironizing: “When I was a kid, I thought kings had to pull swords out of stones. This guy can barely pull his d*** out of his own pants?” Concluding, “You know what this Charles thing tells you? It’s one, the royals have been royally spoiled, and two, I can tell you that nobody who works in this palace is African.”
