Just when we thought Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney were on the outs, the Duchess’s best friend spoke on Instagram to put the rumours to rest.
Is this really the end of a long and beautiful friendship between Meghan Markle and Jessica Mulroney? On several occasions, relatives of both women have implied in various media that they are not as close as they used to be.
They would have taken different paths: Harry’s wife would have, according to rumors, decided to distance herself when her friend found herself in the middle of a violent polemic.
But the 40-year-old stylist decided to silence the rumours on Friday, September 18, with her Instagram “story”. “I’m going to say it, once and for all. Meghan and I are family. She is the sweetest friend and she looks out for me every day,” she wrote, before denouncing the tabloids as “atrocious. “They create lies and hurtful stories. Stop using them,” she added.
Jessica Mulroney targeted by violent messages
A few days earlier, Jessica Mulroney had unveiled, still on Instagram, a photo taken at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex… before deleting it. This behavior had questioned a lot and Jessica Mulroney had felt obliged to justify herself to the Net surfers.
“People often ask me why I delete certain messages. The amount of bullying and hate I had to endure for three years…. I’m tired of watching it,” she had explained.
As a reminder, Jessica Mulroney’s children played a key role in Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage as they were among the children of honour: her twins were lucky enough to hold the bride’s huge train (and one of them was particularly notable).
Jessica Mulroney was also very present for the former actress during the Megxit, as she kept Archie during her farewell tour.
