Archie will be delighted. This Thursday, October 8th, Us Weekly magazine revealed that Katharine McPhee, great friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, is pregnant with her first child.

Married to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle first experienced the joys of motherhood on May 6, 2019, when she gave birth to her son Archie. A happiness she will now share with her great friend, Katharine McPhee. On the evening of Thursday, October 8, the American magazine Us Weekly revealed that Katharine McPhee, married to singer-songwriter David Foster, is pregnant with her first child.

Enough to seal their love, now three years long. When the first rumours of them as a couple first appeared in the media, the mother-to-be was in a different relationship with Canadian businessman Nick Harbone.

Ready to take the plunge during a romantic trip to Italy, David Foster had proposed to her. Proof enough for Katharine McPhee to experience this love, at first non-exclusive, in broad daylight.

They were married on June 28, 2019. And if the pregnancy of the actress and ex-candidate of season five of American Idol is a joy for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, it is also happy news for little Archie.

The toddler will have a new companion, as his parents have forged strong bonds with Katharine McPhee and David Foster.

Friends for Life

Indeed, in addition to their respective careers as actors, Meghan Markle and Katharine McPhee have several things in common. They studied at the same school and performed in the same musicals in their youth.

“I was in middle school when she was in high school,” said Katharine McPhee on the set of Good Morning Britain. “My sister was in her class, so they were the same age. She was always adorable.” A closeness shared by their husbands.

Newly settled in Los Angeles, Prince Harry was able to count on the unfailing support of David Foster. “My husband has a very, very good relationship with Harry. They are so cute,” Katharine McPhee told Access Hollywood.

And while he certainly won’t need any advice from Daddy, who is already the father of five daughters from previous unions, David Foster will certainly be celebrating his wife’s pregnancy with the Sussex family over the holiday season.
