Harry and Meghan: How Megxit was good for the Sussexes’ fortune since they left the royal family

Since their departure from the royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have multiplied the juicy contracts. Result: the Sussexes are now at the head of a real fortune, which has been more than doubled in recent months.

For the finances of the Sussexes, the Megxit has been good. Yet, in deciding to leave the ranks of the British royal family, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made a real pecuniary bet: to do without the subsidies allocated to members of the Crown. “We live on the money my mother left me. Without it, we would not have been able to leave,” said the duke, during the interview event that the couple gave to Oprah Winfrey, while explaining that he was “completely abandoned financially” by his father, Prince Charles. Yet, since their installation in the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made some nice financial deals. So much so that Archie’s parents are now at the head of a fortune estimated at over 115 million dollars. A good possible, thanks in particular to their luxury house located in Montecito.

The reason? Nine months after buying this house for ten million dollars, the value of this villa has soared, as revealed by the Times. According to real estate agents interviewed by the British media, this property is now worth … three times the price that the Sussexes paid to afford it. But that’s not all. Thanks to their Archewell foundation, the couple has also signed several juicy contracts. First with Netflix, for 100 million dollars. “Through our work operated with various communities and their environments, to shine a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” explained Meghan Markle and Prince Harry about their partnership with the streaming platform. The Sussexes also signed a deal with Spotify, which bailed them out nicely as it was estimated to be worth several million dollars.

Prince Harry wanted enough money to keep his family safe

“What we love about podcasting is that it reminds us all to take a moment and really listen, to connect with each other without distraction,” Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enthused. With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do this, because when we hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are.” The result: today the Sussexes are at the head of a real fortune. “We certainly don’t complain, our life is great now, we have a beautiful house, I have a wonderful family,” Harry confided to Oprah Winfrey. (…) I just needed enough money to keep my family safe.” As much to say that the safety of Harry, Meghan, Archie and his future little sister is now more than assured.
