The Sussex acquired this huge property nestled on a sumptuous estate in Montecito, near Santa Barbara.

Pictures of the new property – or rather of the new palace – of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been published in the press. A few weeks ago, the Duchess and the Duke of Sussex acquired this luxurious property in Montecito, near Santa Barbara (northwestern Los Angeles).

Four months after leaving the British monarchy, and after staying with their friend Tyler Perry in Beverly Hills, the parents of little Archie (15 months old) have just packed their suitcases in their very first “family home”, a property that cost them nearly 15 million dollars.

Spread over 1,350 square meters, it has nine bedrooms, sixteen bathrooms and offers the ultimate in spa, gym, wine cellar, movie theatre and games room. An independent house completes the villa, nestled in the hollow of a vast domain of almost three hectares. Swimming pool, tennis court and even a playground are accessible.

Harry and Meghan didn’t choose this property by chance: their great friends Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey also live in Montecito. The community, which is a veritable nest of stars, is renowned for its tranquility and safety. The Sussex property is located at the end of a road that is guarded 24 hours a day and is not accessible to the public.
