After the shock announcement of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to officially leave the royalty, and their explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, Prince William was angry with his younger brother. Now, he would only feel sadness.
The British royal family is in turmoil. Since the announcement of the Megxit in January 2020, the royalty is facing many controversies. The royal fracture really took place on February 19, when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially announced their withdrawal from the monarchy. This decision has strongly grieved Queen Elizabeth II. Thus, the Sovereign made a big decision, that of stripping the parents of little Archie of their royal patronages. Prince William is also upset by the choice of his little brother … And if the anger was initially de rigueur, it was quickly swept away by the sadness. Indeed, he misses his brother.
“Once he got over the anger of how things went down, he was left with the absence of his brother,” a source told Britain’s Sunday Times, before adding, “They shared everything about their lives, an office, a foundation, meetings together almost every day and there was a lot of fun along the way. He will miss him forever.” Friends of the Duke of Cambridge, meanwhile, explained to the British media, “Prince William is definitely feeling the pressure now. It’s all on him. His future looks different because of his brother’s choices and it’s not easy.” Kate Middleton‘s husband therefore feels doomed to face the future alone, as heir to the crown, without the support of his little brother.
Everything depends on him
Nevertheless, Prince William remains concerned about the situation. After the explosive interview with Meghan Markle and Harry, given to Oprah Winfrey, the two brothers would have exchanged messages … The journalist, and friend of the couple, Gayle King revealed this information to the public. A royal source told the Daily Mirror: “This is a shocking breach of trust. The family will now fear that what she says to Harry will end up on American television.” Since then, the father of Princes George and Louis, as well as Princess Charlotte, has feared the worst. “William is now afraid that everything he is going to say to his brother will be broadcast on American television,” said royal journalist Katie Nicholl in the columns of Vanity Fair. The dialogue could therefore be broken if other messages were to be leaked.
