On Sunday, June 21, Prince Charles celebrated Father’s Day by posting a family photo full of memories on Instagram. A touching wink to his sons, Harry and William.
This Sunday, June 21, fathers are in the spotlight. For the occasion, Prince Charles celebrated this special day in his own way by posting two very symbolic family photos on Instagram. The first photo, in black and white, shows the heir to the throne as a child in the arms of his father, Prince Philip, alongside his sister Anne and his mother, Queen Elizabeth. In the second image, Prince Charles poses with his sons, Princes William and Harry, all smiles, during a polo tournament at Cirencester Park in 2004.
In the caption to both images, Queen Elizabeth II’s son, usually rather reserved about his private life, delivered a touching message: “Whether you’re a father, a daddy, a daddy’s boy or a daddy’s boy, I wish you all a Happy Father’s Day!” A fine tribute to William and Harry as fathers, and a nod to prove that, contrary to some rumours, Prince Charles and his sons are not at odds.
Continuity
On the contrary, with his post, he even seems proud and happy to see his sons following in his footsteps. Since the birth of his grandchildren, Prince Charles has been particularly present in their lives, and even during the confinement, maintaining the link by video calls. After three months away, it is therefore with joy that he was able to meet them again on June 13, even if he will have to wait a little to see little Archie again, still in Los Angeles with his parents.
