Prince Harry’s memoir, titled The Spare and released on January 10, 2023, has been a big hit around the world. Sex, drugs, bereavement, family disputes … the autobiography of the younger of Charles III is full of all kinds of details about his life. And his wife Meghan Markle would certainly have preferred that some episodes remain under silence …
The sex life of Prince Harry has no secret for anyone. In his memoirs, The Spare, published on January 10, Lady Diana’s youngest son recounts his life in great detail, from the death of his mother in 1997 to his move across the Atlantic in 2020 with his wife and children. This includes his first relationships and… his virginity. In one of the chapters of his autobiography, the thirty-year-old recounts the day he lost his virginity to an older woman in a field behind a “busy pub” on a night in July 2001. Prince William’s youngest child was certainly far from thinking that the person in question would seize this opportunity to reveal his identity and talk to the press. But that’s exactly what Sasha Walpole, Charles III’s former palace maid at Higrove House, did.
In The Sun, this 41-year-old woman gave her version of events, putting the spotlight once again on the Prince’s sex life and this episode described as “unglamorous” in her book. According to the Daily Record, this testimony would not have delighted Meghan Markle, “mortified” by the consequences of the revelations of her husband on their private life. Indeed, the appearance of Sasha Walpole in the newspapers had not been anticipated by the Sussexes. “I’m sure both Meghan and Harry are completely mortified by this story. I don’t think Harry thought that Sasha would ever show up,” said American journalist Kinsey Schofield in New Magazine.
Meghan “extremely embarrassed” by the reaction of Sasha Walpole
And the least we can say is that Sasha Walpole did not skimp on the details. “I’m the woman who took Harry’s virginity (…) The sex was passionate and sparkling because we shouldn’t have done it,” she told The Sun, referring to this “passionate night” and saying that the prince had not warned her that he would talk about this intimate moment in his book. “Harry or his people could have found me to tell me if they wanted to. I live a peaceful life – I didn’t ask for anything,” she also lamented.
Anonymized and only a tiny part of the prince’s story in The Spare, the 40-year-old was not supposed to use Harry’s book release to expose herself. “We made it a bigger deal than he wanted. Meghan is extremely embarrassed by the reaction [Sasha] has had,” Kinsey Schofield commented, explaining that this type of story is “not the kind of attention [the Duchess] wants.” “I think she thought the book would elevate them and their celebrity status, but in the end, it made them the butt of the joke,” she continued.

She’s mortified when she wrote it I don’t believe one word that comes out of her mouth . Is there any man that she hasn’t slept with?
