Prince Harry visited the United Kingdom for the first time in nearly a year for the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip. During his stay, he would have met his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, several times according to our source. This is the first meeting between the queen and Harry since the shock interview that the couple, Harry and Meghan, had given to Oprah Winfrey.

Our source made some revelations. “The love and respect he has for his grandmother will always be unwavering. This trip was about honoring his grandfather’s life and supporting his grandmother and her loved ones. It was a very family-centric time. This Saturday broke the ice for future conversations, but outstanding issues were not addressed in depth. The family simply put aside their issues to focus on what matters,” he confided.

Note that Prince Harry left the United Kingdom the day before the Queen’s 95th birthday. Yet his open-ended ticket suggested that he would stay for the occasion. So the prince rushed to join his wife, Meghan Markle, who had to stay in the United States due to her pregnancy.

Although nothing official has been announced, Prince Harry is expected to return to the country in early July for the unveiling of a new statue of his mother, Princess Diana. Prince Harry could therefore be alongside his brother William at Kensington Palace for the occasion. Note that the two princes were seen peacefully discussing after the funeral of Prince Philip.
