Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, stars of a reality show? According to The Sun, that’s coming soon. The couple would have agreed to be followed for three months by the intrusive Netflix cameras.
The juicy, and highly commented, contract signed between the Sussex and the streaming platform Netflix contains a surprising detail, to say the least. In addition to the couple’s ability to produce films, series and documentaries, The Sun reveals that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may well appear…in front of the camera as well.
The British tabloid says the Sussex will have their own reality show. Hard to imagine when you know the couple’s fierce commitment to protecting their privacy.
According to a source who confided in the Sun, Meghan Markle would like to show her true face to the public. “It will be in good taste. They want to give people a glimpse into their lives,” said the inquisitive source.
“They may have had all these noble ideas about producing epics highlighting environmental causes and poverty, but Netflix obviously wants them to give a bit of themselves,” the source added. However, the program shouldn’t look anything like a classic reality show in the style of The Kardashian Family, the main goal is to give a glimpse of the couple’s commitments.
Will little Archie be filmed?
“Much of this docusérie will focus on their philanthropy rather than what happens behind closed doors. But it will always be a fascinating insight and Meghan hopes that viewers will be able to see the real her,” adds this source.
The cameras are expected to follow the Sussex for three months, including their humanitarian travels. However, it is unclear whether the prying eye of Netflix will also slip through the walls of their luxurious Montecito home and whether little Archie will be there.
If the Sussex are now totally independent and have irretrievably distanced themselves from the royal family, there is no doubt that Queen Elizabeth should not look favourably on this new adventure.
