Iconic. This Tuesday, November 17, the British tabloid The Express revealed that Kate Middleton managed to outperform Meghan Markle in a poll.
The most stylish of the crowned heads is her. In a poll launched by the global platform of the luxury industry, Farfetch – quoted this Tuesday, November 17 by the British tabloid The Express – Kate Middleton has been elected the most elegant royalty in the world, ahead of Her Majesty Elizabeth II but also, and above all, Meghan Markle, with whom the agreement is not in the best mood.
The latter, again according to our colleagues across the Channel, are among the members of the Windsor-Mountbatten clan who are not on the list drawn up by Farfetch. The rankings were compiled with the help of 14,000 Europeans surveyed to reveal their biggest fashion icons.
With 24% of the votes in her favour, Kate Middleton is thus the only member of the Firm to appear in the top 10 of Farfetch’s ranking, she whose outfits – sometimes recycled or affordable – never cease to dazzle the public. However, Prince William‘s wife narrowly escaped the top spot in the charts, as singer and designer Victoria Beckham (in fact, her partner Meghan Markle) took the lead. The Duchess of Cambridge was thus able to take second place on the list, ahead of Chiara Ferragni, Olivia Palermo, Ellie Goulding, Alexa Chung and Jane Birkin.
A victory thanks to the Megxit?
Kate Middleton took her revenge. Royal fashion icon, the mother of the family had been dethroned by Meghan Markle in 2019, in a survey then conducted by the Lyst site and relayed in the wake by the British edition of Vogue magazine.
According to this survey, Prince Harry’s wife had provoked 216% more requests than his sister-in-law. Now more influential than her counterpart in Sussex, does Kate Middleton owe this change to Megxit, which marked the departure of the Crown rebels in March 2020?
