Meghan Markle’s Royal Accusations: Uncovering Alleged Racism Towards Her Child

While looking through the pages of Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame”, the Sun learned of letters exchanged between the Duchess of Sussex and Charles III. Prince Harry’s wife gave the names of two people who had made racist comments about her son’s skin colour.

Back in 2021. A year after their departure from the British royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle gave a shock interview to Oprah Winfrey, in which the Duchess of Sussex not only spoke of her unhappiness during her time at Court, but also, and above all, of the racist comments she had heard within the Royal Household. The former Hollywood actress explained that some people were worried about the colour of Prince Archie’s skin at birth. These comments shocked the world, and forced Buckingham Palace and Elizabeth II to react.

At the time, Elizabeth II simply commented that “memories can deceive us”, but Meghan Markle did not give up and sent several letters to her father-in-law, Charles III, then Prince of Wales. And it is precisely these letters that Omid Scobie mentions in Endgame. According to the Briton, in these famous letters the Duchess of Sussex named two members of the Royal Household, attributing to them the racist comments we know.

Who was Meghan Markle talking about?

Although Omid Scobie in Endgame mentions that the letters exchanged between Meghan Markle and Charles III are explicit, he does not reveal the identity of the people accused by the Duchess of Sussex. According to the journalist, as reported by The Sun, British law prevents him from doing so. All we know is that these two people belong to the Royal Household, which could just as easily apply to the Windsors as to the people who work for them, such as the great officers of the Household, namely the Lord Steward, the Lord Chamberlain and the Master of the Horse. In any case, Omid Scobie’s new book promises to rekindle tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family, at a time when Charles III’s youngest son seemed to be working towards a lull. Barring a miracle, the possibility of a family reunion over Christmas dinner at Sandringham seems to be receding by the day.
