By marrying Prince Harry, Meghan Markle thought she would make a place for herself in the royal family. Unfortunately, the fairy tale turned out to be a short story. Exiled in Los Angeles, the Duchess of Sussex struggles to forget the affronts she suffered, including an incident with William and Kate Middleton that journalist Sarah Sands reports in the columns of the Daily Mail.
A great admirer of Princess Diana, Meghan Markle dreamed of following in her footsteps. But nothing happened as planned. Less than two years after their marriage, the Sussex family decided to resign their royal duties and go into exile in Los Angeles. This radical decision was due in part to the strained relationship the former Suits’ former actress had with the Cambridge family, whose alleged privileges she would never have tolerated, as journalist Sarah Sands explained in the columns of the Daily Mail, quoted by the Daily Star.
One incident in particular would have deeply upset the duchess, according to the royal correspondent. At an event in which the Fab Four were participating, the former actress would not have appreciated speaking last. Offended, she would then have whispered to Harry “Do I have a voice?”. Unable to wait for the Cambridge’s to express their opinion, Meghan Markle would then have started to jealous of Kate Middleton.
Meghan Markle is thrilled to be back in the United States
A jealousy that will continue to grow. Recently, Meghan Markle was even outraged that Kensington Palace was stealing to the rescue of George, Charlotte and Louis’ mother, even though the Firm, according to her, “never came to her rescue when she was torn to shreds by the media”. Now far from the Crown and its protocol, Meghan Markle seems determined to get her revenge and make good use of her voice this time. “Finally, she can be heard, clearly and distinctly,” says Sands, while the couple has just signed a juicy contract with Netflix, and concludes, “it’s obvious that she’s delighted to be back in the United States.
