This Tuesday, 13 October, Meghan Markle will speak at a virtual summit, focusing on women’s leadership. To attend, participants have to spend a bloody high registration fee.
New week for a new commitment. This Tuesday, October 13, Meghan Markle will be speaking at the Fortune Most Powerful Women Next Gen Summit. If the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s a summit that focuses on the impact that powerful women can have in society and in the world to strengthen their place. The Duchess of Sussex will deliver a speech on “courageous leadership” and share how she learned to “lead on the world stage”.
During this event, Meghan Markle will speak for 15 minutes, of course by videoconference as the summit is virtual. Prince Harry’s wife will explain “how she learned, in her own words, to follow her convictions with action”, as can be seen on the official summit website. However, unlike Meghan Markle’s previous talks, which were free and open to the public, this new summit is accessible to her only by invitation.
A nice sum to pay
As can be seen on the site, an invitation is required to participate in the summit, which must then be approved. And in order to receive this famous invitation, one has to spend a registration fee that costs the coquette sum of 1,750 dollars, or nearly 1,500 euros. By spending this sum, participants can therefore receive a ticket for the summit, which lasts two days.
Among the many events and workshops, Bill and Hillary Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, will speak, as will fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and actress Yara Shahidi. If you would like to attend the summit and listen to Meghan Markle, there is a section on the site where you can request an invitation.
