Meghan Markle and Prince Harry: This very special California crib they chose for Archie

At the age of 2, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor continues to grow up in California, far from the royal family and protocol. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son is now thriving in an unusual daycare center.

After discovering a very first photo of the four of them, we now know a little more about the days of little Archie (2 years). According to information from the Mirror, relayed on January 1, 2022, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have enrolled their son in a modern California nursery. It’s been almost two years since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the British monarchy to settle in California.

Since the summer of 2020, they live with Archie and their daughter Lilibet (7 months) in a luxurious villa located in the posh district of Montecito, near Santa Barbara. In this area where many celebrities reside, most children of stars go to All Saints by the Sea Episcopal School. But Meghan Markle and Harry have chosen another, less traditional establishment for their eldest: a nursery that teaches “emotional literacy,” mindfulness and how to be kind and protect the environment.

According to the tabloid, the students are small in size and have a nurturing environment with a garden full of fruit trees, butterflies, bees and birds. The children are also introduced to Spanish, music, dance, theater and even have classes to learn computer code. The tabloid says that the 40-year-old former actress has already been spotted dropping off her son at this nursery, with her green backpack and space-themed lunch box. It also happens that Prince Harry is in charge of this mission…

Archie is just one of them

“Harry often drops Archie off and picks him up, he seems like a good dad,” reported the parent of one of Archie’s classmates. All of the parents were relaxed in welcoming Harry and Meghan, without making a fuss. And to the other kids, Archie is just one of them. They don’t know his parents are part of the royal family, and probably wouldn’t care – unless Meghan is a Disney princess.”

As they hoped when they left the Firm, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are enjoying a family life relatively untouched by media attention. If not when appearing on television or on official travel in New York (as in September 2021), the couple limits their public outings. We had to wait until the end of the year to have a very first family portrait of the four and thus discover the face of the little Lilibet. The Sussexes have also posed in front of their house in Montecito, home that they would consider leaving, if we believe some rumors that they are only moderately happy …
