Meghan and Prince Harry: This hasty return in California before the end of the Jubilee

After spending three days in the United Kingdom for the festivities of the platinum jubilee of Elizabeth II, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not wasted any time and have already returned to the United States with their children. A stay express that leaves a touch of bitterness, but during which the couple will still have been able to present the little Lilibet to the sovereign.

Just arrived, already left. Three days after landing in the United Kingdom to participate in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the reign of Elizabeth II, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would already be back in the United States, as reported by the Daily Mail this Monday, June 6. The British daily published photos in which the couple can be seen in a car at the airport in Santa Barbara, California. A sneaky return after an extremely short trip during which we could only see them twice during the festivities: the first time hidden behind the windows of the Horse Guard Parade during the Trooping The Colour ceremony, then the next day during the mass that took place at St. Paul’s Cathedral.

As for their children, no images were released. Harry and Meghan took great care to keep them away. Archie, three years old and Lilibet, who celebrated his first birthday this Saturday, remained well hidden at Frogmore Cottage, the former house of the couple that they had recovered for their stay.

Prince William still at odds with his brother Prince Harry

Throughout the celebrations, the atmosphere appeared to be cold between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the other members of the royal family. Among his cousins, only Zara Tindall spoke to him in public during the mass. For his part, Prince William still refuses to talk to his brother, especially because of the interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which Harry and Meghan had attacked Kate Middleton.

And this Saturday, June 4, while the family could have spent a moment all together to celebrate the first birthday of the little Lilibet, William, his wife Kate and their two eldest, George and Charlotte, went to Wales for an official trip, leaving Prince Charles and Queen Elizabeth to celebrate the birthday of the little girl with their son and daughter-in-law. After this half-hearted return, no one knows yet when Harry and Meghan will return to the UK.
