On Tuesday, October 6, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry went on a romantic getaway for a double date with their friends David Foster and Katharine McPhee. This was to celebrate the latter’s first pregnancy.
A happy event that deserves to be celebrated. On Thursday, October 8, People magazine revealed that David Foster and Katharine McPhee, close friends of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, were expecting their first child.
The Daily Mail reports, with photos, that the couple celebrated the event at a Montecito restaurant. It shows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in masks, in the parking lot of Lucky’s Steakhouse.
Dressed in a shirt and jeans, Prince Harry appeared very casual, while Meghan Markle was chic with a sweater, leather cigarette pants, red mules and a trench coat simply thrown over her shoulders. Arriving hand in hand, the couple then dined away from prying eyes with David Foster and Katharine McPhee on the restaurant patio.
It was a discreet outing for the princely couple, who are making many calls for votes and positions in view of the next American presidential election, which Elizabeth II does not really like.
A new playmate for Archie
A new life away from the British crown for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who are delighted to be with their friends when they welcome their first child. A joy especially for little Archie, who will have a new playmate, but also for the Duchess of Sussex, who is an old friend of Katharine McPhee, who had confided that she had attended the same schools as her, a few years apart.
