Even stranger, all other pages seemed to work on the website, including those of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, the three children of Kate Middleton and Prince William. Those of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were not affected by this mysterious computer bug either…
Buckingham Palace has attributed this strange disappearance to a “technical problem” before putting back online the page dedicated to little Archie. Everything is back in order and the Sussex can be reassured. Especially since a few days before, the king Charles III had made an important step towards his youngest son and his grandchildren. The monarch indeed gave the official titles of “prince” and “princess” to the two children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The brother and sister have even had their titles updated on the line of succession on the official website of the royal family, where they remain in the 6th and 7th positions. “Mr.” Archie and “Miss” Lilibet have thus become “Prince Archie of Sussex” and “Princess Lilibet of Sussex”. This change came shortly after their parents explained that it was their toddlers’ “birthright” to have these official titles.

The Sussexes also insisted that the matter had been “settled for some time” with King Charles III, although it was only revealed by the couple on Wednesday, March 8, at Lilibet’s christening. His Majesty reportedly told Prince Harry that his children would be allowed to be called “prince” and “princess” in a private conversation after the queen’s funeral last year. “The children’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch. This matter has been settled for some time in accordance with Buckingham Palace,” a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had informed. The Sussexes baptized their daughter in California, with 20 and 30 guests, including Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, but also the godfather of Lilibet, Tyler Perry, and a godmother whose identity is not yet known.
