Nothing goes more (once again) for Prince Harry! The Duke of Sussex would have filed a complaint against a famous British publishing house for defamation this February 23, according to information from the royal expert Omid Scobie.
Prince Harry seems to be very upset against the Associated Newspapers Limited which includes The Daily Mail, The Mail on Sunday and The Mail Online. According to the royal expert Omid Scobie, the husband of Meghan Markle would have filed a complaint for defamation against the publishing house. The journalist revealed this information in the evening this Wednesday, February 23 via his Twitter account. His source would be a spokesman for the Sussex couple.
Not having more information on this subject for the moment, he simply said that it would be a complaint against The Mail on Sunday. The media would have “recently published several articles on Harry’s efforts to fund police protection in the UK” for him and his family. The expert on British royalty recalls that a year ago, in January 2021, the father of Archie and Lilibet had already filed a complaint for defamation against the same newspaper that had, according to the Duke of Sussex, put online false stories about “his link with the armed forces.”
Prince Harry wants to take back some of the privileges of royalty
Since the Megxit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer have the benefits of being part of the royalty. As a result, they notably no longer have the privilege of police protection in the UK. That is why Prince Harry decided to do everything to change this, without success. This is the problem that the British magazine would have talked about. Why is this a problem for the brother of Prince William? Apparently, he wanted to keep this matter a secret.
