Prince Harry has a grudge against his family, and has no intention of hiding it. In an interview published by The Me You Can’t See, the Duke of Sussex has once again spoken out about the British monarchy.
Prince Harry still has a lot to say, more than two months after his explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS. In his documentary entitled The Me You Can’t See, the Duke of Sussex made confidences about his well-being, the trauma suffered after the death of Lady Diana, his mother, or the mental health of Meghan Markle. The grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, moreover, held the British monarchy partially responsible for the malaise of his wife.
“Before the Oprah interview aired, because of the efforts of the media and the monarchy to smear her, I was awakened in the night by Meghan’s crying. They were trying to smear her. She was crying into her pillow because she did not want to wake me up because I already had a lot on my shoulders, “he confided. If Prince Harry did not spare the clan of Queen Elizabeth II, he also spoke about Charles, his father.
“It was like that for me, so it will be the same for you.”
It is no secret that the agreement has not always been very good between Prince Harry and Charles, his father. At fault, the young man often blamed him for his absence during his childhood or his lack of support, especially in relation to the British tabloids. “When I was younger, my father said to William and me: It was like that for me, so it will be the same for you,” he said in front of Oprah Winfrey, before adding: “It’s not because you have suffered that your children must suffer. It should be the opposite. (…) Do everything you can to transform into something positive the bad experiences you have lived”. New statements that may, once again, upset the British royal family.
