Prince Harry Opens Up About Therapy, Leaving Royal Life, and His Relationship with Meghan Markle

A few weeks after the death of Prince Philip, Prince Harry made shocking confidences about his family in the podcast Armchair Expert. If Prince Charles does not want to answer his words, they do not pass for the relatives of Elizabeth II …

The latest statements of Prince Harry do not pass within the British royal family … Guest in the podcast Armchair Expert, the brother of Prince William criticized the education that his father had given him. If Prince Charles, questioned by a BBC reporter, did not want to respond to his comments, insiders in the palace criticized the behavior of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Sources said that “nothing ever seems to be their fault” after the Duke of Sussex assured that he wanted to “break the cycle of pain and suffering” of his upbringing with his own children.

During the interview, Prince Harry said that his father, Prince Charles, “suffered” because of the upbringing he received from Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and therefore treated him the way he was treated. Palace insiders are frustrated that Meghan Markle’s husband continues to speak publicly about his personal relationships with family members. For the Daily Mail, a source criticized the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, saying that the latest interview with Archie’s father would not help bring the family together, “They seem to be making a career out of talking about their past. It’s not helpful.”

An interview given too soon after Prince Philip’s funeral

Royal biographer Angela Levin, meanwhile, accused Prince Harry of being “incredibly rude” and said the interview was “ruthlessly cruel” to the queen, who is in mourning after the death of her husband on April 9. On the set of Good Morning Britain, she said: “He just seems to be attacking her family in the most unpleasant and disloyal way. There’s also some sort of nonsense in there, or potential nonsense, because he says Meghan told him to ask for help, but when I interviewed him at length in 2017, I asked him, ‘Are you leaving because Meghan suggested it, she convinced you,’ he had said, ‘Absolutely not, she had nothing to do with it, it was William.'” Finally, she added: “There’s a lack of understanding of the position of others – poor Prince Charles, who, as we saw when the funeral took place, was absolutely devastated, and the queen at 95 went bravely to open Parliament, but you could tell she was not the same queen anymore. She was desperately upset, she loves Harry. It’s indescribable, ruthlessly cruel.”

In the middle of promoting his new docu-series dedicated to mental health, Prince Harry agreed to confide in the Armchair Expert podcast. In it, Meghan Markle’s husband made numerous statements about his family and described royal life as a cross between The Truman Show and being in a zoo.

He no longer wishes to remain silent … A few weeks after giving an interview to Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry made many confidences about his childhood, his life in California and his desire to protect his children in the podcast Armchair Expert. Speaking to Dax Shepard, Prince William’s brother described royal life as “a cross between The Truman Show and being in a zoo.” While he left the UK to escape the media pressure, Prince Harry explained: “Just because I’m a famous person, I can’t go out. It’s really really sad and the argument from the paparazzi and everyone else is that if you’re in a public space, it’s perfectly fine to do that. So what is our human right as individuals and as a family if you say that the moment we step out of our house, it’s open season and free play – what, in the name of the public interest? There is no public interest in taking your kids for a walk on the beach. Nothing, it’s not information. That’s my problem with it, information should stay information.”

Claiming that his father, Prince Charles, had passed on a cycle of genetic pain and suffering to him, Meghan Markle’s husband explained that he had wanted to leave the royal life since his early 20s, because of what it had done to his mother. “It’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed down anyway… So we as parents should do everything we can to try to say, ‘You know what? This happened to me, I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen to you,'” he assured. Finally, Prince Harry added, “I never saw it, I never knew about it, and then all of a sudden I started piecing it together and saying, ‘Okay, this is where he went to school, this is what happened, I know this from his life, I know it’s related to his parents, which means he treated me the way he was treated, so how can I change that for my own children? ‘ And here I am, I moved my whole family to the U.S., it wasn’t planned, but sometimes you have to make decisions and prioritize your family and your mental health.”

Prince Harry wants to have a normal life

While his wife will give birth this summer to their baby girl, Prince Harry is happy to live in sunny California. He thus assured during this interview: “Living here now, I can truly lift my head and actually feel different, my shoulders are dropped, his too (Meghan Markle’s, ed.), you can walk around feeling a little bit more free. I can take Archie on the back of my bike. I never had a chance to do that.”

Prince Harry: his merciless comment on the deplorable education within the royal family

Prince Harry is once again not tender with the British royal family. He assured, in the podcast of the American actor Dax Shepard, that he had suffered a lot during his childhood because of the education he received.

The new statements of Prince Harry should not fix the relationship he has with his family. While he and his wife Meghan Markle have decided to end their royal duties at the very beginning of 2020, he has again made negative remarks towards the British royal family, in the podcast of the American actor Dax Shepard. In particular, he revealed that he had first considered leaving the clan led by Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 20 to avoid the same fate as his mother. He said he did not want his own children to have the same upbringing as him. As reported by the Independent, Archie’s father assured that he left the monarchy in part to “break the cycle” of “pain” that he suffered growing up.

A few weeks earlier, he had said in his interview with Oprah Winfrey that his father, Prince Charles, had probably suffered a lot from the upbringing given by the Queen and Prince Philip. According to him, there is a kind of “genetic pain”. “I don’t think we should be pointing fingers or blaming anyone, but certainly in terms of parenting, if I’ve felt any kind of pain or suffering, it may have been because of the pain or suffering that my father or my parents may have felt. I’m going to make sure I break that cycle so I don’t pass it on, basically,” he said.

Prince Harry feels freer today

He wants to do everything so that his children do not feel the pain that he could live. Since he moved to the United States, Prince Harry feels freer and more serene. “I can take Archie on the back of my bike, I would never have had the chance to do that,” he said.

This little phrase from Meghan Markle that changed her view of royalty

It’s been more than a year since the lovebirds took off to build their new life far from the monarchy. It is in the United States, in California, that the couple has put its luggage for an indefinite period to fully enjoy their son, Archie. It is also there that they will welcome their daughter, whose birth is expected in the summer of 2021.

As Lady Diana’s second son made clear, he did not want to raise his children the way he was raised. Indeed, long discussions took place between Meghan Markle and Harry, and for weeks, before a decision was made.

Meghan Markle: these words that changed everything

The grandson of Queen Elizabeth II no longer hides it: the arguments of his wife are one of the reasons why he wanted to leave this lifestyle. “My wife had the best explanation… You don’t have to be a princess, you can create a life that will be better than any princess. And that comes from her own experience,” he blurted out to Dax Shepard. The former Suits actress would therefore have opened the eyes of her husband, who did not hesitate to make a surprising comparison about his life as a prince. “A mixture of the Truman Show and a life in a zoo,” he assured without embarrassment, which would have greatly upset the queen. However, it seems clear: Prince Harry, who feels more and more American, does not regret having left his former life on which he seems to have drawn a line.

  1. I find it very fascinating that you understand the pain that Harry went through and the upbringing he lived more than he does? I find that extremely arrogant and you are portraying a bullying attitude. You obviously love the Queen and Prince Charles but let that not blind you from the truth. Harry has a right to his life just like you. Unfortunately, his life is intertwined to the life of The Queen and Charles his father. I don’t see the reason why and how you expect him to live like a prisoner even when he left the monarchy? Give him that right to live his own life how he finds fit and with FREEDOM! You will never understand his pain as you are not him. You can never understand how certain treatment makes a person feel as we are ALL wired differently. Hate him all you can but give him the right to freedom and to live his life how he finds fit. You claim that he’s cashing up from the name of his family, what about you? Atleast its his family. In whose name are you making yourself famous? Who are you? OMG! You have the nerve!

  2. Hi ,
Harry has been through a lot as a young man and he has found a wife that has opened his eyes.
He want to lead a normal life with a wife and children just like most of us.
It will never be a basic life he will never need to worry about a roof over his head or food on the table but that is many of us and we are are not hounded for our pound of flesh .
Many of us are wealthy but we are able to lead our lives out of the spotlight and I can understand why this young man yearns for this.
Yes he was born with blue blood but we all have red he is no different.
Don’t criticise this boy for marking the most of what he has for his family but he’s not meat to be butchered by the press.
He didn’t asked to be born into royalty so when he asked to walk away let him.
There are many privileged family’s that don’t get hounded day in day out let Harry and Meghan be one of those .
We still have the monarchy for those that wish to support and yes I’m one of those I think the queen and her family are amazing and do a fantastic job for our country long may it last but all this criticism of how Harry was brought up must stop. One in I don’t know how many not suited is not bad all family’s find it hard and not all plane sailing …. these are just people flesh and blood they came with nothing and will go with nothing as you and I will.
I understand Harry craves Normality and not being in the shop window all the time he wants to work be it giving Inspirational talks on mental health and climate change or suchlike he should be allowed to and Meghan should also Be able to be an ambassador for all the courses she has close to her heart there are many people out there who make a living at this kind of thing and go home at the end of the day and don’t need security.
Maybe the security won’t be needed in the future when people finally understand these two people and their family are just ordinary people who want to live in ordinary life.
My heart goes out to them and their family I hope in the near future Society will understand Diana,s son is a man in his own right not a object of public interest .
Please let this family live a quite happy life with the freedom most of us enjoy without a thought.

  3. My feelings towards Prince Charles if he didn’t like the way he was brought up he didn’t have to do the same to his boys.
Think it’s time to change rules and regulations in the Commonwealth or Monarchy think they’re both the same we are in the 21.s century time to make things different and up to date.
