While the birth of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby girl is scheduled for this summer, speculations around the name are going on. Will the Sussex couple pay tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh? The bets are on.
A name in tribute to Philip? Expected for this summer, speculations multiply on the name that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will choose for their daughter. Although they have not spoken publicly about their preferred choice of names for their second child, it is likely that they will choose at least one name that pays tribute to the royal family, according to Hello!
Royal fans are on the lookout for any hint of betting on the British website Ladbrokes to determine which name is most likely to be adopted by the Sussex couple. One of the top names according to the betting platform is Philippa, due to the death of Prince Philip last month. Many believe that the Duke of Sussex will include a variation of the Duke of Edinburgh’s name in his daughter’s title. In the rest of the name ranking, we find the name of Diana, in tribute to the mother of Harry, and then despite the tensions, they could decide to make a nod to the queen by choosing the name Elizabeth.
A tribute to Prince Philip
If the Duke and Duchess of Sussex choose to pay tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh, they would not be the first royal couple to do so. Prince Philip’s granddaughters, Princess Eugenie and Zara Tindall, have both paid tribute to their beloved grandfather by naming their newborn sons after him. Unfortunately, the Duke of Edinburgh never had the chance to meet the two great-grandsons who were named in his honor.

I bet the Queen just as soon you didn’t. Keep putting down the USA and you will not be wanted on either side Harry. Your behavior and Megan is so inappropriate take a look in the mirror. It’s already obvious that all you want from your family is to “give it all back” as if being a millionaire is not enough.
