Exiled in California, Prince Harry seems to have happy days at the side of Meghan Markle and Archie. But almost a year after having given up his royal functions, the son of Prince Charles does not forgive the Firm for having stripped him of his titles, as reported by the royal correspondent Richard Palmer this Wednesday January 6.
A villa worthy of a palace, a son who is growing up at a glance, a job that could not be better paid… Prince Harry has everything to be happy… at least on the surface. Scrambling with his family, the Queen’s favorite grandson is struggling to move on.
In addition to the Firm’s disrespectful behaviour towards Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex also reproaches her for having deprived her of a title that was particularly dear to her heart, as Royal Correspondent Richard Palmer pointed out on Twitter on Wednesday, January 6.
“Harry is clearly unhappy about losing his military titles,” Palmer said, adding that the Queen has no intention of reversing her decision. If these honorary military positions are to remain vacant until March 31, the first anniversary of Sussex’s departure from the royal family, they should be “granted to other members of the family later this year.
Harry stripped of his titles
To regain his freedom, Prince Harry was notably forced to give up his title of Captain General of the Royal Marines. A function which he had occupied for two years and which should return to Princess Anne, already associated with 65 military organizations.
A real heartbreak for the man who had served with honor and forced admiration while fighting in Afghanistan in 2008. A human adventure that had deeply marked the young man who had subsequently created the Invictus Games to pay tribute to soldiers wounded in combat.
