The Crown series was to end after Lady Diana’s death in 1997. According to revelations in the Daily Mail, it could finally extend to the last years of the royal family.
Viewers love it. The British royal family, much less. Since the series The Crown has been broadcast on the online streaming platform, Netflix, The Crown sees red. The program spares no member. In season 4, which has been online since November 15, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles are taking the credit. In the next one, Princes William and Harry could meet the same fate.
As our colleagues of the Daily Mail specify it, this Friday, November 27th, the directors would like to evoke the characters of the 2nd and 6th heirs of the throne. In the final episodes, the two men still appear as children.
We report possible Netflix projects. The American giant would finally like to extend the royal series. There are rumors that Netflix is talking about the possibility of extending the show. It could be extended to show the Duke of Cambridge and the former Duke of Sussex as adults.
On January 31, however, British-American show writer Peter Morgan announced that he would not renew the show after its fifth season. “Now that we’ve started working on the stories for Season 5, it’s become clear to me that this is the perfect time and place for it to stop,” he said in a statement. The death of Lady Diana in 1997 should bring the series to a close.
I’m going to make sure to stop it
Seeing his antics spread out in a popular saga could piss Prince Harry off. Two years ago, journalist Angela Levin met with him for her book Harry: Conversations with the Prince, published in May 2018. At the time, The Crown series had only aired for two seasons.
But the grandson of the Queen of England was already suspicious. “When I went to the palace to interview him, the first thing he asked me, shaking my hand, was, ‘Are you watching The Crown? I remember being very embarrassed, and I stood up and he said, ‘I’ll make sure I stop this before they get to my story,'” she told TalkRADIO in early November.
