SHE WENT TO AFRICA WITH PRINCE HARRY & ARCHIE…
The royal couple attended the premiere of The Lion King in support of their conservation work in Africa, and the whole family, including Archie, went on an official tour last fall. They stopped in South Africa, Malawi, Angola and Botswana. Africa holds a special place in the couple’s heart. Prince Harry, following in the footsteps of his mother, Princess Diana, has long been involved in conservation efforts and community enterprises in that country.
The Duchess also travelled to Rwanda to participate in World Vision Canada’s campaign for clean drinking water. In addition, the couple, who met on a blind date, really started dating while they were staying in a camp in Botswana. “I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana,” Prince Harry revealed during their engagement interview. We camped together under the stars. She came to join me for five days and it was absolutely fantastic.”
