Meghan Markle and Harry are always so active in their associative missions. So much so that they now intend to make their mark in the world of philanthropy.

More than a year after officially leaving the British royal family, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle aim to set up projects they will be proud of. According to information from the Express.co, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now intend to make their mark in the world of philanthropy. In September 2020, the couple signed a contract of nearly $ 150 million with the streaming platform Netflix with the aim of offering their own documentaries, films or even shows for children.

Since then, Meghan Markle and Harry have announced to set up many projects focused on empowerment, women’s automation and social justice, partly implemented by their organization called Archewell. “They clearly want to make their voices heard in the world of philanthropy,” Nick Bullen, co-founder and editor-in-chief of True Royalty TV, told Fox News, before adding, “Contrary to what you might think, Meghan Markle and Harry don’t necessarily rub shoulders with the celebrity world. If their goal remains laudable, Meghan Markle and Harry must now think about how to make their business sustainable.

Meghan Markle and Harry and their need to generate money

To make their mark in the world of philanthropy, the couple hopes to “generate huge amounts of money” to build and thus maintain their reputation as world leaders. “And I think that’s the big problem now. How are they going to generate huge amounts of money to do whatever they want? (…) How are they going to do that without relying on their royal status? “Nick Bullen asked. On the other hand, the Sussexes have other activities that bring them money. In addition to the contract with Netflix, Prince Harry pocketed a huge sum to write his memoirs. These are expected to be made public sometime in 2022.
