In her former blog, Meghan Markle confided the resolutions she makes every year. But what are they?
Every year, many people take advantage of the New Year to make resolutions. And Meghan Markle, too, takes advantage of the enthusiasm of January 1st to make good resolutions. Before joining the British royal family and marrying Prince Harry, the American actress had confided her resolutions in her lifestyle blog called “The Tig”. After launching her blog in 2014, Meghan Markle finally closed it down in April 2017, five months after her marriage to Prince Harry was made official.
In her former blog, Meghan Markle revealed that she has two resolutions every year: stop swearing and stop biting her nails. “These are my New Year’s resolutions almost every year (okay, let’s say every year),” she wrote in a post on January 1, 2016.
Before continuing: “Insults usually come when I’ve been working too long or when I feel a bit insolent after a few drinks. As for nails, it happens when I’m on a slightly turbulent flight or when my day is stressful. It’s unsightly. And again, swear words too. Crap”
Special resolutions For 2021
In the same post, Meghan Markle explained that she has two other resolutions: to run a marathon and to relearn the French language she studied in high school. As for the following year, in 2017, the young woman had decided not to make a resolution this time but rather to “make way for magic”.
“To make my plans and be okay if they sometimes break. To set my goals, but to be open to change,” she said. It was a resolution she had kept, as a few months later, in November 2017, she and Prince Harry announced their engagement.
