Meghan Markle made Queen Elizabeth II uncomfortable after the U.S. elections

Meghan Markle plays with the rules dictated by the British crown. Indeed, the spokeswoman for Prince Harry’s wife revealed that she intends to encourage people to get involved in politics, even if the American elections are over. Ambiance!

The ultimate provocation? This Tuesday, November 3, the American elections were taking place and Meghan Markle was determined to vote. Worries, the tradition wants indeed that the members of the crown of England cultivate a political neutrality. Archie’s mother therefore broke the royal protocol, as she had assumed in an interview with Marie-Claire, and voted by mail, like millions of other voters.

Exit the political neutrality, Prince Harry’s wife intends more than ever to get involved in politics. As reported by the Daily Mail, the pretty brunette’s spokesman assured that Meghan Markle’s political activism “will not end after the US election” because she believes it is “very important to encourage people to get involved in politics”.

Even if it means offending Queen Elizabeth II? “Being an active member of society means taking part in the democratic process. It is therefore important to encourage people to get involved in politics,” the spokesman told Insider.

Harry has a strong interest in American politics

Sources close to Sussex assured the Daily Mail that Meghan was “eagerly awaiting” the results of the U.S. elections from her mansion in Santa Barbara. “They will continue to be politically active in the coming months,” the pretty brunette’s spokesman has already warned. He added: “Meghan was an American long before she was a royal. She wouldn’t have failed to vote in this election, no matter where she lived.”

And what place is there for Harry? If he left his royal functions at the beginning of the year, it is not for all that that he can vote, even if he developed “a keen interest” for these American elections, says a source.
