Meghan Markle : Her miscarriage soon told in a book

1

For the reissue of her book “Finding Freedom”, Meghan Markle has taken out the pen to add new chapters. The Duchess of Sussex has decided to come back on her miscarriage, which occurred in July 2020

The explosive revelations will give way to emotion. While Prince Harry is preparing to drop a bomb with the publication of his memoirs, scheduled for 2022, Meghan Markle has decided to add a new chapter to their biography. Entitled Finding Freedom, written by Carolyn Durand and Omid Scobie, the book traces the married life of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from 2016 to early 2020.

From rivalries within the royal family, to the underbelly of the Megxit and their love story, this book literally made headlines when it was published on August 11, 2020. And to make this book as close to reality as possible, Harry and his wife Meghan have added an important chapter of their lives. A few months after the birth of their first child Archie, the actress of the series Suits: Lawyers on Demand was the victim of a miscarriage. A tragedy that occurred in the middle of the summer. According to publisher HarperCollins, this new chapter will also tell “Meghan’s journey of emotional healing, from the loss of a child to the birth of her daughter.”

In November 2020, the American actress had already written a poignant The Losses We Share in the columns of The New York Times. “It was a July morning that started as normally as any other day: making breakfast. Feed the dogs. Take vitamins,” the 39-year-old begins, before revealing a few lines later the terrible episode. “After changing the diaper (of my son), I felt a strong cramp. I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the happy melody contrasting sharply with my feeling that something was wrong. I knew, as I clutched my firstborn, that I was losing my second.”

The arrival of Lilibet Diana

If she wants to once again break the silence around this still taboo subject, Meghan Markle is slowly turning the page of this drama by dolling. Since June 4, 2021, the sister-in-law of Prince William has returned to the joys of motherhood by welcoming her baby girl Lilibet Diana. Unthinkable then for the Duchess of Sussex not to devote a chapter in the reissue of Finding Freedom.

In their huge villa in Montecito, the mother of the family takes full advantage of her two children with already very distinct temperaments, as Prince Harry explained. “We are really lucky, she is very calm and seems happy in all circumstances.” He had stated to the British daily Mirror. In addition to filling them with joy, the little girl would be the source of Kate Middleton’s outstretched hand. If the tensions seem to ease a little, the release of this reissue scheduled for August 31, on the occasion of the commemorations of Lady Diana, may still spill ink.
